Farewell & good luck Simon, what are your immediate plans?
Don't be a stranger to the S Club scene, I know you won't be able to keep away very long.
Once its in the blood, you just can't shake it off.....

Although it currently looks like this...
That looks interesting Simon.
What kit is it, & what is it based on?
Is it a homage to any particular sportscar?
I'm thinking Mille Miglia/ Targa Florio Ferrari, late 50's with a hint of AC Aceca.
I hope that when it's finished we get some decent weather!
Nice to see you've retained your optimism going for something totally roofless.

The kit is a Sammio Cordite, spitfire based. Currently got a 1300 engine, I'm planning to get it built and then possibly think about a change after that, probably a 2.5 dolomite engine or similar. By all accounts the car is so light and the technology so old (brakes etc) that it might be the 1300cc is enought without significant upgrades elsewhere!

the only thing wrong with the one on ebay is it has a 2L engine.
2000cc is a definate improvement on 1300!Maybe a V10 would be a little OTT

Now a nice 2 litre Alfa Twin Cam with some even nicer big Webers making lots of nice "Sucky sucky" noises

Whatever engine, it's a nice looking car
