Broken Indicator Stalk

Not happy! Took my S to Henley TVR for a service. Now they tell me that the indicator stalk is broken and that it's not their fault!

Since I personally took out the unit several weeks ago to clean the contacts I know the stalk was fine, with no cracks or glue! Now the stalk has glue residue and needs replacing!

Be a good time to upgrade the stalks to those nice shiny ones that I saw around here somewhere....

I guess it may be a case of arguing the toss, but I wouldn't put up with that! They can't just go round breaking bits off people's cars and expect to get away with it.

This sort of attitude just seems to reinforce the opinions I hear from everyone I speak to about this lot. Of course, this is just hearsay and opinion and cannot therefore be in any way considered defamatory.

Have to replave them now, just when I was going to advertise to sell the car! What timing!
