Noticed that my headlight's do not seem to be functioning correctly, side lights work ok and full beam works when flashing but main beam not working and full beam not working when on continuously. Does this sound like it could be a problem with the DIM-DIP RELAY.
If so does anybody know the specification and where I can purchase 1 from?
Cheers

I had the same happen to me when I first got my S. I had sidelights and no dip or main beam but the main beam flasher worked. It turned out to be the switch that had gone. The innards had melted slightly and this was stopping the contacts from making contact. I got a second hand one from Douglas Valley Motors for £10. www.douglasvalley.co.uk/
The Ford dealer wanted £70.

Sorry for the delay folks, been away..
Dim Di[p relay is a module about the size of box of fags, buried up behind the glove box. On my car, it was black and had fis on it, the sort of things you'd expect for cooling something. Heaven knows why.
Basically, what it does is to activate the headlights on about a quarter power when the ignition is on, but the lights are only on side lights. The theory I guess bieng to stop people driving around with only sidelights on.
By pulling the module and the dim dip relay I found my headlights were fine. I'd had problems when fitting the modwise extra power to the lights kit as it doesn't like the dim dip circuit. No problem as far as aI know in doing this, passed the MOT immediately afterwards.
