Understandable point pies, as you seemingly are keeping tabs on me.
An underlying problem has been the lack of a TVR or TR6, both I have been after since as long as I can remember.
The only problem being the fact that wifey and I had decent cars, and didn't really have the money for a sports car - plus the fact she doesn't really care for them.
I have sold my BMW purely because it generally sat on the motorway going back and forth to work, nothing else.
So, I am now the proud owner of a peugeot 405 turbo diesel which seems to make fuel rather than use it. Mrs Silverback has finally given in, and given one of them, (6 or tvr) the go ahead.
So, not wanting a loan, I will be piling all spare cash into a bucket for one or other.
I think though, the S will be the best (more reliable) option, but I do like TR6's.
To answer your point pies, No, for the long term this one, and finally I will be able to get something in the garage rather than washing machines, dryers and 'stuff'
If anyone is near me in Bristol I would like to have a poke around in one....

Well what's it going to be?
"Getting serious hankerings for a V8 now..."
Got to be a V8S, we'd miss not reading the knob gags on here if you went for something else.
I'd love to get a V8 (been a while since I've updated my profile it seems) but that'll have to go on the back burner for a while yet.
I'd rather not go into detail on the forum, but the car is being sold for financial reasons, and to be perfectly honest it's breaking my heart to sell the old girl.

Have you considered a baguette instead?
