Loads of replies...marvellous !!
Stu, I saw your S at Austec last week when i was booking mine in for the chassis to be waxoyled and picking poor old Paul's brains about why my indicators have crashed on me. Having looked around at previous forums I now know where to look for the flasher unit.
Your S was in beautiful condition, hope you get it back soon and we can meet up.
Mike, look forward to you coming to the area, I am not far from Gatwick, we must meet up. I was going to the East Sussex Region meet until a year or so ago but work had been getting in the way big time. Now things are back to "normal " I am looking to attend more meets in the near future ...they are a superb bunch with a lively social scene.
Paul...you are obviously local too..where have you been hiding ?!!...must meet up some time.

Thanks, I hope to get it back on Sunday at Open Day assuming its finally ready - after full engine re-build and now respray
They have had it since 3rd June (104 days)
I work locally to Austec and live off 217 at Kingswood. Is it your S I've seen at Presteigne in New Malden

Sorry for the delay in getting back but have been abroad...no mine's not the one you've seen in New Malden as I live in Horley which is very handy for Austec. Unfortunately I missed the open day as I was away but having spoken to Mike recently I hear it was a roaring success.
Mike and the team have just done a marvellous job on re waxoyling the chassis so the beast is back and ready for some winter action...hood down of course !
Perhaps catch up some time in the future, which club meet do you go to ?

No worries - I too am prone to periods of work in obscure places.
So it was yours being waxoyled at Austec during the week ? Mine is in for respray after all the summer trauma's. Hopefully get it back Thursday.
I must get to a Surrey meet, but haven't been as yet as the car has been in dock all summer, and I only moved to Surrey in the spring.

Yes that was mine getting waxoyled, unfortunately the underside of mine is now in better nick than the bodywork and interior !!.
I had a brief glimpse of the work in progress on your respray, I'm sure Austec will do a cracking job. I'd be very interested to see the end result some time as it is something I'm considering...and saving for !
Let us know on here when you get it back, perhaps we can all see it at a club meet.

You are back again at Austec on Friday ? You there all day ? If so I'll pop round at lunchtime - I work five mins walk away - assuming I've got the old girl back of course
