Looks like a very nice car Knowler, very similar age etc to mine. Hope it goes to a very good home and that your woes diminish! (Look forward to interior/engine photos, suspect I may be envious!)

It's OK Rich, your pics are good.
Kev is referring to a 1:43rd scale model S that was one of a specially commissioned group purchase on this forum a couple of years ago.
Very rare & exclusive, whether built up or still in kit form.
( Did you ever complete it Kev? )

Rich, I hope you get a speedy sale, it's such a shame you have to sell.
If it was me, I think I'd sell the Beemer instead.

Live now.

This is what it can look like (with a bit of patience!)

Did anyone else ever finish theirs? I've seen V8's before but no other finished V6's

I've not competed (or even started) mine, but I did however call in at the model shop @ meadowhell yesterday and now have the correct adhesive. I had already got the paints I need so next step is to crack on and do it.

Thats a cracking job of the model - those flecks in the paint job, are they to scale?

Its a strange effect made worse by the pictures, doesn't look so odd in real life. Mica paint seems to play havoc with flash pictures! That's my excuse anyway.

Hi Max,
Out of interest, what is the correct adhesive?

I got one of the kits from Pyney last year & still haven't started it.
I'm very impressed with the quality & detail, this thread may have given me the motivation to have a go, hope I can do as good a job as Stu.thumbup

They sold me Vitalbond CA medium. I believe it's a medium superglue - states bonds metals, and cures in 20 seconds.

I wish I had the patience and the required steadiness of the hand to make as good a job as that one... what a beauty... I should have asked you for a copy of the photo to go in my ad... but I suppose it will only be someone from PH who wants one of these anyway so you can see the pictures here FOC wink

thanks Stu... thumbup
