Hardest decision for a long time

Hi all,

I have had to make the decision to sell my S2. My heart tells me to keep the car but my head knows that I am not using her and she is sat in my garage. I bought the car 2 years ago having looked around for at least a year until I found the right one ( I saw some awful cars in that time).

I originally bought the car as I was due to retire from Jaguar and I wanted something to occupy me. As it happens, I never did retire and although I have spent many a happy hour improving her, I have only done about 300 miles since I bought her, 80 miles since the last MOT in 2011. I have never had an issue and everything works as it should. Last 2 MOT's have had no advisories.

Can you guys advise me on the best method/way to sell her? is it Piston Heads, E-bay, Classic Sports Cars etc , Any help/advice will be welcome.

I sympathise with you because I am in the same position (see my recent After 22 years... post). Someone else posted in that to sympathise with me, so there's a lot of it about!

Of course noone can predict what prices are going to do, but as I would only invest any sale proceeds, I'm currently thinking of leaving mine in the garage as a very tactile alternative type of investment.

I was so dissapointed, with the price mine reached on eBay I decided to keep it,. Hope you have more luck if you genuinely want to sell it.
