The title's wrong on the piece. It should read 'Sensible buys for £5k, available easily for the budget and typically dull after the first 2 months of ownership. High scores in lacking originality, or unusual-ness, but really excel in sensibility'

Those with hairy chests and recognising the fun that comes from being involved in both driving and proper maintenance may want to read an alternative magazine, if you have time in your life for reading that is. More interesting stuff can only be found by listening out for it. You'll know when it passes at 105dB+ - but be in something quick when they pass - otherwise you wont catch it to buy it.
