On Days Like These....

I'm glad I don't SORN my S for the winter.
Brilliant sunshine, clear blue sky, the occasional little fluffy white cloud, and the beautiful Peak District to play in.
I only went out to Aldi (1/2 a mile away) to get some of those mince pies.
That was at 11:30.
Got back at 16:00.
When you get to my age, every day like this is precious.
By the way, the Aldi mince pies are tastier than Sainsbury's Taste the Difference.
IMHO. And cheaper too.

IMHO. And cheaper too.My youngest son wanted to go to some skatepark shop to buy a bobble hat (that all the dudes wear at school), so I allowed him to co-pilot me on a quick run in the S3. Imagine how devastated I was when we got there and the geezer told me the shop wasn't open for another hour and a half!
So we had no option than to drive a large circuit to eat up the time. Roads were wet in the NW, and I ran out of screen wash, but that just adds to the excitemnet! Particularly on the motorway stretch!
So, my son got his hat, and my battery got a good charge. Looking forward to christmas hols so I can spend more time in my TVR!!! :-)
