My swirl pot looks rather grotty - does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement in stainless steel please?

Are these the nicest quality ones? That top joint looks a tad untidy?

I bought from here last year an initially there were some issues with the soldering. I had to send two back, but the Guy at ACT was very helpful and in the end sent me a good one. I think this may have now been sorted, but bearing in mind their response to my issues, I am sure you can get it sorted. So, potential risk on quality, but good customer support to rectify it if there is.

Hi All

I make various things for our beloved TVR's as some of you are already aware and have spoken to DaveM about these in the past.

I intend to make a polished aluminium version with an aluminium top so no ugly brass to stainless joint. This will be finished off with a stainless polished cap.

Am busy at the minute (I do all these things in my spare time) but hopefully should start these feb / mar if all goes well.

Will also be more cost effective ;-)

Cheers. Lee.

Have you considered making one combined with an expansion tank? For example

If so, I’d be interested.

I was also going to do a replacement expansion tank in ali polished to replace the existing. Will keep you posted.

The finish on these would look like my washer bottles, ali which I near mirror polish small welds etc.

Cheers

Lovely work Lee & Shaun. If you could link the swirl tank to the expansion tank with a transparent tube to form a water level sight glass that would be brilliant improvement on the original (IMHO). If you need a V8S swirl tank for a sample I could lend you old mild steel one.

Daddy bear swirl pot, Mummy bear expansion tank and Baby bear washer bottle. Sounds good to me if not a kings ransom to buy the set of three.
