The original is actually thicker on the one "sdewall" than the other
Unless they are split or torn you might find there’s still life in them and they can be made to look OK with a bit of elbow grease. Mine polished up nicely with T-Cut and car polish and look quite shiny. Just replace the metal strip on the inside.
