Another one for your diaries, National Motor Muesum Beaulieu are holding a sports car day on Sunday 23rdJune. Last year it was full of MX5,s BMW Z3's etc., It would be nice if we could show that there are some realy nice BRITISH sports cars out there. Anyone up for it, treat it as a rehersal for the Poole event the following Friday.

I'm in ! Went to Beaulieu last year for the German car show which was great. We got a free pass to see around the museum as well.

No need to book, just turn up on the day. It would be great to see as many of you as possible, as some of you may have guessed I work at the motor museum and may be able to arrange something special for Tiv owners.

I will be up for this as well, funny enough I was down in Bournemouth the other week and saw the road sign, only 2 to 2 & half hours drive from me. Sounds good!

Sounds like a nice day out so count me in (dependant on other commitments), unfortunately I think Poole is a little too far for a Friday evening frown

I've put it in my diary, but it all depends on how Austin is is feeling at the time, it's close to the S Club Euro Alps Trip & it's a fair run from Manchester.
We'll see how the petrol fund stands nearer the date.smile

Andrew,
Hmmm, something special.....
Would this involve Thai girls, massage, & the finest wines known to man?
If so, I may come along in the old Mondeo.

Otherwise it's just Austin & myself I'm afraid, & a few gallons of Shell V-Power to tide us over.

Sorry I can't supply what you so desire, this is the New Forest so a couple of old ponys, a roll in the mud and a couple of pints of Burley cider will have to suffice, mind you after a couple of pints of Burley Rough the ponys will look like Thai girls!!

Sounds perfick!

Andrew, are there any facilities for camping on site at Beaulieu by any chance?
I was thinking about driving down on the Saturday if the weather is reasonable.
If no facilities, I guess I can Google the New Forest area.

There are a number of Forestry Commission camp sites within 10mins drive of Beaulieu, Denny Wood is the one near Beaulieu Roads railway station and is the closest. If you were thinking of using this site I would suggest that you book a pitch as it is the hight of the season. You can do this on line on the FC web site.

Has this changed since I last looked at it- it now seems to be Porsche based?
