Interior door caps/strips
Discussion
pies' site at www.tvrsseries.com has an explanation on how to remove these trims and polish them up. I suppose you could paint them in another colour instead, if you preferred.
I have also polished mine back to shiny aluminium. Looks a treat!
(Just found the reference on my web site at www.tvrgit.com - look under "diary" at 4 september last year - it's all in pictures!)

My bro (page3) attacked his dash taking it down to the steel since the wife told him he couldn't afford new walnut.
Its worked pretty well and can be seen at www.tvrcc-middx.co.uk/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album02&id=IMG_1236
He's also posted it on pistonheads so worth searching out some old S threads.

Mine were done B4 I bought my S. Looks like some 1/2 round hard wood strip has been used (about 12mm dia)which has been stained and varnished then screwed from the back of the door card to attach.
Obviously someone has taken a bit of time to trim and round of the ends, but the finished result looks very good.
This route should be fairly easy for someone with reasonable diy skills - - and cheap! (ie less than £10)
