Just to let you guys know, the much talked about Breakfast Club meets Sunday 10th February 2013, two weeks time.
New start time 9am, although arrival time is flexible, closes at 12 midday as before, no doubt breakfast still as good.
Will the snow be gone by then?

Hi Mike, well yesterday I was thinking "no way", those lanes around there can be very icey as this unfortunate chap found out going to the New Year breakfast, luckily no serious damage done....

But if today's milder weather lasts (or gets even better) I'll see you there thumbup

Snow, what snow? Currently working in China where the sun has just about broke through the smog today and its a balmy 8 degrees.
May see you there if I am back in time and the snow has gone. If not will see you at the March breakie club all being well.

Cheers Stew.

I somehow managed to be in contact with a couple of TVRCC guys who are hoping to get to this one, one with a yellow Sagaris plus a few of his mates.
If the weather holds up, will give me the extra push to get out in the cold.
Sounds like you, Stu, could do with the blast in the fresh air to clear the chinese smog from your lungs!

Should be OK for this one, bearing no more misshaps. May even let the wife drive, I thinks it's her turn.

Hoping for good weather next Sunday. Been out in the TVR this week, for work, with my thermals on. But blinkin rain appeared from nowhere, so soggy trousers. Just rain water I hope, was a bit twitchy on some new tarmac.....!

Hoping to be there if I can get my wife to drive me, still can't drive due to hand injury.

Planning to go in the TVR. Some friends may come along in sensible cars.

Any meet up plans? I'm happy to go straight to Shelsley or rendezvous nearby but a time to meet up to have a communal breakfast would be good.

Cheers
Tony

I was thinking of joining you but now there's talk of snow frown

I don't want to be the only one with the hood down again!

I'll keep watching the forecast.

Paul.

I am planning to go unless it is torrential rain or snow. I was going to make a final decision on Saturday when the forecast should be more accurate. Reckon that I'm going to keep the roof on though.......

It's a tough one to forecast, but I promise to have the sunroof open on the old mondeo if there's not enough snow to stop me going.
Austin's up on axle stands awaiting new CV's & Barry's bringing a rad fan, also a door glass from Norman for Tinks, seeing as I live a bit closer than Barry.
Bring on the breakfast! yum

Whatever do people see in heated seats, heated windscreen, cruise control, stereo you can actually hear, power steering, lights that work etc etc.?

Pah, it's just no fun.frown

LOL

id love heated seats in my S, and if i ever change the mx5 seats (or dye them grey like the rest of the trim) i may well look into fitting some of the heating pads.

though i do have an excuse what with having a very poorly back hehehe

I feel like I need the breakfast, so unless it is "really bad" ( not sure how to quantify that ) I will be going, I could use the Jetta, but that does remove the adventure.!! the forecasts so far have been less than accurate so far.
So fingers crossed, plus I have the deer stalker hat to keep my head warm, plus the trunking for the air vents has dropped off, there by blowing warm air over my nether regions, the windows steam up, but my "bits" will be warm..!
That is correct my TVR heater works quite well.

OK, I was the only one who turned up at the original meeting point with the hood down, but it was good to meet a fellow nutter!

I think it will be a last minute decision if I go on Sunday, the forecast is not good.

I've registered Barry & myself on the b/fast club website.
It's courteous to let them have an idea of how many to cater for.
Only takes a minute.
( Unless you have computer skills like mine, then it takes ages.) smile
See you on Sunday guys.
