Hi all, I'll ask here so I know I'll get a serious answer.
About september last year I found a core plug (I think)under my car. not sure if it's off my car or one of my Dads (or from Mars).
Question is, why would one fall out?
I've not been near my car for ages, so hav'nt checked it, so thought I'd ask first.
If it is off my car, how do you refit them?
Many thanks.

Cold night, no anti-freeze, coolant freezes and pops core plug out. Can get a bit nippy by September but not usually sub zero
As Garry said, was it lying in a pool of coolant when you picked it up?
I wouldn't worry about re-fitting till you're sure its from your engine, they can be very difficult to replace with limited access (engine out jobbie?).
