Before I order them, can someone in the know please confirm that these are the correct mounts for an S3?

those are the correct ones but beware there appears to be two rubber compounds around...

the standard compound as fitted to regular cars can sag fairly quickly

Rally Spec compound (previously available from Rally-Design) was a much harder compound and lasted longer.

Not sure what these ones are... No doubt someone will have replaced theirs recently and will be able to advise based on their experience.

good luck

Graham,
FP292 are definitely the ones I fitted last March.
No probs with them since fitting.
But the Rally Design mounts seem to get the majority vote so far, so the choice is yours. It's not a job you want to do on a regular basis!

Best of luck, you will find a whole new vocabulary.

Thanks guys, looking at the Rally Design items now!

TurboTony, just a bit worried, do they cause added vibration due to firmness of rubber? Or are they better than whatever you had on previously?

I've also got a heavy duty Gearbox Mount to install while Clutch is getting done.

Thanks

I don't think that they give extra vibration - but there is so much else going on that it is difficult to tell! Certainly a few of us have fitted these and i have not heard of any other NVH issues.
