Hi everyone, I was looking for any information on this car as I may buy it if all checks out. I know it had an insurance write off in 2004, does anyone know the nature of the damage, and how severe? any other info would be great! Cheers in advance!

There's 2 H***FLA's in the owners list wiki, one of which I know in Norwich and doubt very much would be for sale, so that leaves just one, which is green, from Gwent and current owner had it since May '08 (confirmed 2011).

Good luck in your quest for history. Hope it's the one irrespective of what history you manage find. :-)

Dave - our S3C is allegedly sapphire blue - but it's kind of blue green. I'd expect to sapphire to be more blue - is yours?

I know - I should post pics but didn't want to take this too OT!

Gary, my S3c is Sapphire blue (mica) and its definitely more blue than green (although in some lights it has a green hue). Have a look at my profile pic of the car.

Apologies to the OP for the OT posts.

This is the car for sale at Tony Gilbert Cars. I don't know its history but I would have expected them to be able to tell you something about the crash repair. Have they offered you any details? They do have a good reputation as a dealer in TVRs. I assume that it is a Cat D or another category repaired vehicle. Of course, relatively minor damage can result in an insurance write off but I would want to know the extent of the repair. Please keep us posted.

Cheers
Tony
