Hi All,
I`m going not to far from me would be good to have some more S`s there (next Saturday feb 2nd )
Does anyone fancy meeting up on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a cooked brekkie?

I was thinking of going to the Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre in Witham (where we went for the Porsche BBQ). They do a range of breakfast choices up to a full english at £4.25 or a large one at £5.25.
If anyone also fancies a bit of golf at the same time they do golf and meal deals. See link below:

If you're interested add your name with your preference of day (Sat, Sun) and we can sort out a date.

Cheers

Robin

Feb 2nd?

What sort of tractors have they got ?
I like big chunky green ones.
( Well any colour really. )
And strong straps with hooks on.

And nice thick bacon rashers.

It's not far to Essex, decent breakfasts are hard to find these days.

Just think, you're saving a whole quid!
Don't forget to bring your wellies.

its far enough to Essex, though they did have good tractors when I lived there. (not that I needed any help from them at the time)

Who's Robin ?

Can't make this saturday but nipping down to Essex (about 165 mile from here) for a decent breakfast one Sunday morning in a couple of weeks time when the weather may have improved a little sounds good to me smile

That sounds good, and only fair as Barry/Robin/Batman has been over our direction several times, nowhere too far when a good breakfast awaits.!
I presume the date you meant was March 2nd, ? Sadly not this weekend but as Phillpot says a warmer dry day would be great.

Robin is a member of Mid Essex who suggested the breakfast thing,
he has a chim and a Tuscan (that explains the golf club)
maybe a S meet half way somewhere, will have to look on the map,
and it would be nice not to get cold and wet (and muddy!) for a change if the Weather
is a bit warmer.

Really no problem popping down to your Golf Club Barry but 50 mile in the freezing cold (yes, top down) to Silverstone a few days ago was enough, Only a few degrees rise would make the journey far more enjoyable, I must be getting soft in my old age.

If you do feel you'd like a bit more of a drive how about somewhere around Stevenage, I was working there over the weekend and found a decent route from here avoiding Motorways except for last few miles on A1(M)?

Just need to find a decent cafe!
