Hi
Ok V8S very occasionally the engine revs drop while driving along steadily, and when the accelerator is pumped it trys to pickup, feels like fuel starvation.
Fuel pump seems to be whirring ok, after a short while or some times switch off and restart its ok again.

Whats the problem, pump, relay, fuel filter issue, air flow meter ?

It could be any, all or none of the above. Sorry but it could quite literally be any one of a number of issues and unfortunately all you can really do is start methodically working through the options starting with the obvious ones eg air filter, air leak, blocked fuel filter etc. You could try investing in Steve Heath’s ECUmate (see Sprint June 2012) or the ECUmate Lite to help you diagnose the issues.

Is it just after hitting a pothole or bump in the road, this happened on my V6, and turned out to be a loose fuse in the box in passenger footwell.
