Fresh air ducting

Hi All, where can I get some cold air ducting? need both sides from dash vent to front of car (S2), I did look at searching but only google available.

Mine is 1.25". Ducting that is.

I did mine last year it was 2" joined mine in the engine bay,
don't make it to tight at the front or the wheels will rub on it
on full lock (like mine did )

...alternatively, rip the old ones out, tape up the holes into the cabin with duck tape and leave the roof off for ventilation. Added bonus, saves a bit of weight, tidies up the engine bay, and leaves two vents into the font of the engine to aide cooling - in fact one of the new vents will direct cool air into you air intake to improve engine power ( a very little).

Win-win scenario

For the traditionalists (keeping it "standard") I used ducting from these folks www.siliconhoses.com

4m (standard length) of the SHV2-51 sorted mine.

AutoAndy's suggestion has a lot of merit, I have just followed the same path. If you need fresh air get that roof off, and a much improved engine bay giving good access to all areas.

Errr, nope! On mine the vents are actually connected to the heater, not the fresh air. I think it is a good solution overall since winding down a window gives all the air I need. The hose i have is 1.25" ID and it fits the vents perfectly, so there may be a reducer somewhere on standard cars? When summer hits, I might be looking longingly at an air conditioner, but I'll tough it out.

Thanks for the suggestions, looking at this at the mo, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330725323806?var=5400623... sizes are the same as my originals just the colour that's different, don't understand how Loach's ducting can only be 1 1/4 id seems way too small.

Love the engine bay, very shiny, working on mine at the moment along with everything else lol.
