Hi All.

Does anyone by chance have 1 of the original OZ wheels kicking around??
Got one with a nice kink in it! Might be able to get it repaired but looking for a back up plan.
Also does anyone know where i can get hold of the mesh for the seats? Not sure if its old age or my weight but theyve had it (blaming the age).
Thanks.
Paul.

Good luck with the wheel!

The seat, some people have used a webbed strap material like the ones used to tie down loads on lorries etc. Very tough and doesn't rot. My driver seat is a bit saggy compared to the other so I may need to have a go at this myself.

You could also use an old seat belt, available from any scrappies for next to nowt!

Do you mean the Slot Mag style or the spoked type?

Is it the Early S wheel on this page?

www.classictvr.co.uk/parts/wheels/wheels.htm

The page is several years old so I don't know whether Steve has any for sale.

By the way Chris, I like the S1 wheels on your car in one of the photos in your advert. Look so much nicer than the OZ 8 spokes.

I'd heard it wad fairly easy to swap over seats, and the recline leaver looks like it would be just as at home on the inside as outside. Obviously no good if completely sha99ed, but if just tired - maybe an option?

As a last resort (?), you can still get this style from TVR - I had a complete new set with the black centres in March this year. Got them via David Gerald. (www.davidgeraldtvr.freeserve.co.uk/)

Suppose should caveate this comment by saying this was before the Russian invasion?

I may be in the market to part with mine if anyone's interested. I actually prefer them to the 7 spoke, but don't want to ditch the original wheels.
