Last time the bidding got higher, up to $18k IIRC. I have been casually looking in the UK for something a bit rough around the edges that I can use every day, but it seems that prices are up on last year, to the point that it doesn't make sense to buy the rougher ones - they are advertised close to the price of the good ones. The good ones are tremendous value for money!

Don't forget it is a LHD car and more rare then our RHD's.Saw this and thought "At Last, Value Realised" so long as it sells for that!!
I know this car very well, was owned by a Dutch Tvr club member.

They are all tremendous value for money, but that one is definitely an s1, digital clock, manual windows, no chrome bumper trim, OZ slots, and it looks like a 2.8 to me. You can't put a price on all that pleasure, can you?
I reckon average prices have gone up by £1500 since last year, perhaps people are beginning to cotton on to the amazing value that these cars represent.
We are very lucky people indeed.
