S3 Throttle Potentiometer (Position Switch) - Link

Had trouble with engine overfuelling, especially under 3,000rpm on a 100 mile journey. Then coughed and spluttered when starting the next day and soaking the plugs. Tested outlet from the throttle pot and there was no increase in reading when the accelerator pedal was pressed to the floor. Traced various part numbers and came up trumps as follows:
Racetech TVR parts supplier list E1586 as fitted to all current Speed Six 3.6 litre engines. What's more, it is an OE Ford stamped item and dirt cheap at only £29 plus all the nasty extra £'s totaling £43 to the door.

This detail is in other threads as I've posted it before also number is intermotor 19935 as listed on the alternative parts list

When I last looked the cheapest new one I could find was this.
£33 delivered - cheaper than dirt but no Ford part number.

Didn't look that closely you are correct, this one was first in list under £10 on v quick search. It is also fitted to other cars though and last time I picked one up (for my sons MG) It cost me £7 for a brand new one (18 months ago). Just need to do the cross check for other manufacturers and then search, also use misspellings in the search as often this throws up cheaper ones
