Hi all, does anyone have a simple diagram showing or could tell me how many body/chassis fixing bolts there are and their location [tried search but no luck].
Thanks
Nigel

Use the owners websites from the useful links above, you can pick from many (including mine, www.gbsportscar.com) where the "how to" sections will tell you exactly where they all are

There is a diagram that I lifted from somewhere, but I'm afraid I can't post it from my phone. I'm sure someone can post it

As Mark says, there are a number of owner sites, Mine is at http://www.tvrgit.com

k on the "how to" menu item on the left, then about 1/2 way down the list, there's "bodylift and chassis repair" - that shows photos of where all the bolts are.

Says V8S, but my S3C had two of these bolts in the boot area though.

Thanks all loads of information but does anyone happen know the RAL Colour reference for the red powder-coat used on the chassis.

Best regards,

Nigel

I painted my chassis with Rustoleum RAL 3020 which is probably a bit too bright red?
Bought another tin recently to touch up a few places and got the wrong one (my mistake) RAL 3000 which is actually maybe nearer to the original red which its hard to tell with ageing and fading etc. but looks like a deeper, very slightly maroon-ish red ?

colour chart

Had I not been doing mine in stages (suspension off, then engine out and later partial body lift) I'd have probably gone for something a little more subtle, maybe a mid grey? top chassis tubes are still original and sound powder coat!

Thanks Mike, the chassis' been refurbished and powder-coated - I’m trying to match the other pieces, suspension etc. and the 3000 definitely looks a better match.

Cheers
