Does anyone have any top tips on how to separate the lens from the back part of the front indicator unit? I am replacing my cracked lenses and and am finding these very difficult to splt. Thanks in advance!

they can be very well stuck on irked

You may well have to destroy whats left of the lens. When I did one I cut off as much as possible with a hacksaw then it was a case of old chisel, Stanley knife and anything else that fell to hand to cut scrape or file the remaining orange off !

Tried the boiling hot water once but will give the hot/cold treatment a go tonight. I was stupidly thinking this would be a 10 minute job!!

Well done, I used a soldering iron on one but the hot and cold keeps everything in one piece with minimal prising and pulling
