..... for a numpty.

Manual radiator fan switch fitted and located in the recessed cigar lighter aperture - and it works.

However, not so chuffed that I have a leak on the clutch slave cylinder under load; and I can't get a seal on the swirl pot cap!! Bloody one step forward and two back!!!!!

Mind you considering what's been tackled these past 5 weeks - finishing post in sight now. The car has moved out if the garage, turned round and back in the garage. That'll be tomorrow's jobs then.

Hey, that does seem to be the game, you are not alone , one step forward two steps back, but then it all comes together and the sun shines.!

Nice job tho ! I might do that when I've got a fan fitted and a radiator, and a fuel tank/lines and a windscreen and trailing arms and dampers and brakes and seats and steering

I'm amazed to be on the same wavelength as you Mike - might be a few years later but got there all the same.
