Hi All
Just found out the wheels stick out by 25 mm outside the body, a friend was down with me yesterday and pointed this out saying that won't pass a MOT, I now have to add another job to the list. Has anybody got any pictures of flared arches on a TRV S.
Now I have the spacers on 25 mm back and front, I have just enough to clear the callipers so body work required

Look like standard bodywork not sure if that's part of the rules but I think standard size wheels are?
Back to Alan's problem.....
How about loose the "wire wheels" and get some nice alloys, suitable inset/offset, diameter and width to fit fit

I love that tvr picture above, flaired arches might be in keeping with the insane spec too however could you change the wheels even if just for the mot ? If you have a friendly mot station it might be worth asking them if they might put it through as it is , I see plenty of landrovers with overhanging wheels and I wouldn't consider 25mm excessive ???

I think the words subtle and tastefully are the order of the day, the wheels are a must keep, I will look at making some moulds this weekend and try blend them in as if they came out of TVR with them.
As you can see Its not a lot most at the rear of the tyre but the boys in blue could just do a stop.

Reckon the car looks lovely like this, I have spacers on my S3 although tyres still inside the arches. My Brother some years ago had a 60's Cooper S with tyres extruding the arches was told by local plod that he could be fined up to £1000. Long time ago but ok with wheel arches on.
