Anyone know where you can get a car match (not a code or standard recipe mix)?

Ideally Norfolk or Suffolk for a minor blemish or two.

Hi Steve,
If it's Mist Blue ( same as mine ) you're after, I got mine mixed at Colourtone in Stockport and the match ( to a sample strip ) was spot on to the car.

They do 400ml aerosols & touch-in pots.

If you want to order some, I could collect it for you & bring it to Barn Farm on Fri 17th.

www.colourtone.com
Tel 0161 477 6970
email: paul@colourtone.fsbusiness.co.uk

No connection with them, just a happy customer.

Its defo a friday afternoon mix based loosely on a ford colour, with added loosely.

Recipe mixers get no where near from the code, or even the shades available, its defo a hand mix i need - but old skool is so rare these days.

I have found a company in Brighton, but thats a blxxdy long drive for an aerosol or two! and i dont want to mail my bootlid either!

There must be someone nearer.....

Steve,
I have a foil sample strip which came in the history folder.
If you wish I can post it to you, if you PM me your address.
If it's a match to your car, your mixer man can use that.
Or send it back and I can get Colourtone to mix you some.
If it's not a match, just return it to me.
Either way, I would like it back eventually though!

ETA : It looks a lot bluer in the pic on my phone, than in real life.

Mines a light shade of Crystal Blue glen, code 1812. Ford ppg 2k. A new lead may have found me an answer near the lotus factory in Hethel, just 6 miles from home!

I will confirm when successful!

propellant is a tad dear...........but my monster compressor is a bit of a moisture creator - so this is worth a try i think.

Mending wife's corsa backside today though!, she had a reversing argument with a new fiat 500...........Ouch

Then there's the w124 e320 5 speed auto (the fast-lounge mobile) to wash, photograph and sell!

Then I can get back to TreVoR - is it fit a new shower 1st? I can't remember
