Newark Kit & Classic Car Show 15/16th June.
Discussion
Does anyone fancy joining me there?
If the weather looks promising, I'm considering going camping from Fri afternoon until Sunday afternoon.
Campers are allowed from 13:00 Fri, the show opens for display cars from 07:30 Sat & Sun, open to general public 10:00.
Plenty to do & see, car boot & autojumble etc, bar & food, there may possibly be a TVRCC area.
If somebody with amazing IT skills could post a link to this thread on our Events
Wiki, I'd be greatful.
Oh, & perhaps a Phillpot- style hyperlink to the Newark Show website would be nice.
If it's gonna be grotty weather, I shall only go on the Sat. With my roof on
There, I said it.
Oh the shame......

Hoping to be there but probably only one day. Off to Le Mans the Weds after so will be a bit busy I suspect, hopefully not pulling engines out like last year...
Only 40 mins aware for us so an easy run!

Thanks Gary. Some people say the kindest things.

Are you going for the Le Mans 24Hrs? Is it a week later this year?
Hope to see you at Newark.

Yup, LM24 is a little later. I've missed the Newark show many years because they usually clash.
Hope to catch up with some folks, seemed to miss most at Chatsworth

I used to miss my daughter's birthday because it clashed with Le Mans. Hope to catch up with some folks, seemed to miss most at Chatsworth

Yes, Chatsworth was over far too quickly, I never got a chance to have a look over the pre-80's. A good day though.
See you at Newark then.
Thanks Mike! ( I haven't checked it yet, but I know I'd make a right pig's ear of it if I tried. )
Max, the best day to go would be the driest
Either sat or sun, busy both days, but if camping, there's entertainment on sat night ( Disco I think ) in one of the halls.
Lots to do & see both days, plenty of indoor stuff as well.

I might try and get there on one of the days as it makes a nice day trip form Norfolk - Any one reserved some space for us?
