Can't do the linky thing but it's this item number on eBay 26122478750

Sadly it looks like another S has bitten the dust, don't see this one as being salvageable. But it does have a late S4, side vent Chimaera style bonnet.

What a b....y shame! I am pretty close, it is a great pity I do not have a barn or anything like that or I would break it to help keep other S's going. Looks like there is some interest anyway.

Stranger things have happened .......

Didn't the S start the revival in the 80's after the wedge nearly sank Lilley? We just need this Les fellah to be another Peter Wheeler :-)

Reckon they are in a funny place at the moment - parts are being snaffled up like gold dust. Wing mirrors expensive, indicators expensive, O.z 8 Spokes (might as well buy a complete car, as wont be found without car)

I think any new S would not make economic sense to manufacture , there is just not enough meat on the bone for profit.....
Now the Sag , or Tuscan convertable , would make more sense to manufacture ...
I would be very worried now if you have bought these models at current prices, maybe a newer model would devalue these..?

A new V8S bonnet is £1200 + VAT + painitng. You can't get a new 'S4' bonnet (AFIK) so what do you think is a fair price for something as rare as that?
