I'd say about £8K - who should I write the cheque to?
More seriously, if it's in Andy Hills class and your mans in no rush to sell - £14K ish.
You have to bare in mind it's possible to pick up a 5 litre '97 facelift Chim with 35k on the clock for the same money!
Post it on here and wait and see!
Best of luck

An L Reg in absolute imaculate condition with only approx 8k on the clock sold in the last year for £16k IIRC
Most "ordinary" V8s in good condition sell for approx £10k with the VGC ones going for approx £12k.
Therefore IMHO your mates car will be between £12k and £16k.Now ive never seen your mates car (unless it was the grey one at "S" club 2)so its a guess for value but id put it at £14k,you need to check pre cat griff prices for a comparison too

Yep I'm the Stewart from Leicester who sold the V8S £9450 - business venture forces sale, well business is really good (so I keep telling myself)and it's only been two weeks since I sold my BRG friend - I miss that sound track so much, I've been found wandering aimlessly around my garage looking lost and glassy eyed with bottle of Autoglym in my hand. The wife thinks I need treatment - so - logic says if I buy a minter that's too good to ever get rid of, we sould both live happily ever after, hence the ad.
The Grey V8S sounds very good but @ £15k you are into 5.0 ltre Griff territory, I was looking around the £12k/£13k mark - a mint 21000 miler went for £12.5 on TVRCC last week. If any of you know of a V8S for sale please get in touch (before the yellow van comes)Thanks Stewart
Oh thanks to Chris for the phone call about his car
