Anyone that feel like adjusting my s3´s throttle pot on saturday?

Hi Maffe,
I hope somebody with the skill will help you on Saturday.
I have no knowledge of the S3 throttle pot set-up, I didn't know it was adjustable;
So I'm not much help I'm afraid

The only adjusting I've ever done to mine was to wiggle the connector - I think I can recall how to do that shoud you wish.

Does yours have slots to allow adjustment? I will have a multi meter with me but I'm not bringing my oscilloscope I draw the line there)

I have a spare with me
I think that it´s possible to measure the resistans on the pot.
One should go 0-500 the other -500-0 or something like that.
Maybe I dreamt this since it was long ago that I got that info.

Are you sure it needs adjusting? what is the problem you are trying to solve.

You might have some of the Eurotour gang turn up, I here some of the navigating was a bit suspect on previous tours.

Think I messed up when I tried to adjust the ideling on it.
Was just not thinking when I did it.
Car feels little "uneven" in the engine when driving and it´s little more thirsty then usual.
Or maybe it´s just me driving harder then usual

An old (from that era) magazine article says to check voltage rather than resistance.... 0.6v rising smoothly to a max of 4.5v .

Supply to it should be 5.0v

Idling on the S3 is not adjustable, it is controlled by the idle control valve. The throttle butterflies should be fully closed at idle. The idle control valve can get dirty which upsets the idle. Its simple to remove and clean with carb cleaner.
