The old stuff seems to be rather odd looking material, almost packaging.

Does anyone know where it can be acquired from?

Also, the radio suppressant mesh around the gearbox tunnel that's bonded into the GRP. I suppose any old conductive mesh will do providing it's earthed.

Good to be back working on the project again after an 18 month layoff. I hope everyone else's rebuild as met their aspirations.

Cheers

Dave

Coincidentally I bought some replacement under carpet padding at lunch time today - it's called reconstituted foam (looks a bit like sick in my opinion!) Anyway, it cost £3.38 for an 18"x36" piece of 0.5" thickness from B&M Latex in Weybridge. They do web sales as well.

I used some stuff like this, being "closed cell" it doesn't absorb water like ordinary sponge (unless you have the one and only TVR that doesn't leak, not even a tiny bit) biggrin

and, a a bonus, it doesn't look likevomit
