Best glue for velcroroof seals
Discussion
I think the glue that was mentioned before was CT1. Someone had used it to attach new window rubbers.

I knew someone had posted this before! Thanks. Just spoke to a neighbour who is in to sea kayakking, appears they swear by CT1 for sealing compartments on their boats and it does work even when the boat is wet. I will be ordering some! Mine where held on by evostick but I afraid it has suffered in the heat.

Glue remover might do the trick.....
I use that stuff at work to remove glue residue from laminate.
I think it's solvent based so might remove the lacquer/paint as well!?
I can get hold of a tin later and check if you like?

I wouldn't mind knowing. I am a dab hand at turning even the simplest task into an unmitigated disaster. I have premonition of the outcome! I think it's solvent based so might remove the lacquer/paint as well!?

It is solvent based but if you're not sure then try white spirit or meths first.
It more than likely would'nt remove old paint with brief contact but I'd try the weaker stuff first..............Then test a patch of the strong stuff in the middle of Phillpot's S3 bonnet.

X2 try Ebay

Or Google, there's loads out there.
Off topic Mike, but have you got a new phone by any chance?
Or has the thought of your bonnet being used for solvent testing made your 'submit' finger go all shakey?

Have you seen AcidRich's profile pic? Dunno about slightly altered.
That's got to be the most radically modified 58 Vespa I've ever seen!
I wonder if it still has the original 300cc engine?
