what would be your choice and why?
I realise we have several S owners on this forum who are fortunate enough to be in a position to own and run more than one TVR but for many like myself its hard enough financially keeping the S on the road let alone another.
Since having a blast out in Chimaera last year I have often thought how nice it would be to keep the nimble, flickable S but also be in a position to own another TVR.
Yesterday a Sagaris shot past me on the M3 which did look and sound fantastic, not everyones cup of tea of course.
A few weeks ago I parked my S2 next to a silver TVR T350 at the local park, the owner showed me around it and it wasnt long before those pipe dreams started again!
So being sensible with your choices (TVR Cerbera Speed 12 excluded) if you could own and run another TVR as well as your S what would it be?

but if money and practicality don't come in to it a Sagaris on dramatic looks alone.I am lucky enough to have just bought a 350i wedge as well as owning a Cossie S. It's a modest collection but one I feel very privileged to own as they are both fantastic cars. The S is quick, nimble and very noisy whilst the wedge feels much more like a 70's GT than a raw sports car and I am surprised in the difference between the two cars to be honest. I love classic cars and especially classic TVR's so I guess I am living my own dream, even if it's not someone elses!!
I find it difficult impossible to choose. One day I fancy a Chimaera then another day the Griffith takes the mind, or a Tuscan or a Sagaris.

I think even if I could afford to run another I would still answer a question like this by lusting after yet another from the range..!
I would have to do a Les Edgar, and buy the company...!

If money was no object I would have either an original Griffith or Tuscan then on to a vixen. M's are great but styling never really did it for me. As money does exist as more than just a concept I wish I had bought a Griffith 5yrs ago but would find it difficult to part with how much it would cost to get a really good/special one especially when you compare what is available in that price bracket. Have always been intrigued by the cerbera but am scared of the potential relibility issues and fragility. I love the look of the T350 (harks back to the days of the 60-70's TVR's in my opinion) but the same applies as the cerbera... I lust after a V8S however I would be concerned it would dull my S2 so that would be a swap not an extra.
Think if I ever have too much cash and am feeling really generous I would send a SEAC wedge to my dad in the states so he could show people what a real muscle car can look like and I can drive it rather than an Audi Q7 when I visit... I think it would be the perfect opposite to his 66 Morgan Plus 4!
So what's left... A chimera would tick all the boxes but to be honest wouldn't buy one, do not know why though. Maybe a taimar at some point perhaps... Now that's given me an idea... Oh no....

My Broter-in-law purchased this very cheap Tuscan from Auction (he's a car dealer) complete with a conrod sticking out of the block! He sourced a replacment 4 litre engine then sold it on, apart from the blown enging the car looked great.
I too like the Griffith (5 litre of course) and love the Sagaris.

As a member of the excess club I would have an S again in a flash .
I want one of every model but at the moment i'm mostly lusting after a Cerb . Mainly because a mate recorded Mike Brewers buyitbodgeitselliton programme and it wet my appetite for a project .
My guess is that if an S owner drove a Tam and then other models it would defiantly convert a few , its more like an S than you would imagine .
