Forgive my ignorance, but where can I purchase a retractable aerial for my S. The car sleep's under a cover, and the bendy type aerial that was on the car has snapped! If anybody can point me in the right direction? Thank's.
Yes I replaced mine no problem. Got it from a local motor factor and wired it straight in. Don't think they are particularly rare. Let me know if you can't find one and I'll let you have the make and model.
Hi all, thank's for the feedback, got one from the motor factors. It's a universal type one that can be fitted to the roof or wing's. Fit's nicely in the original hole and I can fold it down flat for when I put the cover on!
Just a thought, my cheapo new aerial didn't work very well until I fitted a bit of sheet metal under it inside the boot, then it worked fine. (do aerials need a ground plane to receive or only to transmit?)
