S1 2.8 Exhaust Manifold - Rare Find.
Discussion
Hi everyone,
After the touch & go situation regarding cracked manifold problems prior to the Eurotour, I have managed to obtain a spare UNUSED new old stock cast exhaust manifold for the RH ( driiver's side ) which is the one that usually causes grief.
It is 2.3 V6 Cortina LH, Genuine Original Ford part, No: 73TF-9431-CA.
For the TVR 'S' it will need two M10 studs screwing in to the nice clean tapped holes, and also the flanges will require grinding to a tapered profile as per the TVR mod to allow the downpipe upper flange to clear the chassis. ( No problem, I did mine using a 9"/ 230 x 6mm grinding disc. )
As you know, these manifolds are much rarer than the teeth of hens that have been fed on rocking horse doo-doos, I've been looking out for these for 18 months, so if you need a replacement, PM me.
