Hi all,

I've searched but not found any mention of the crescent shaped display panel.

The one in my S2 is cracked and damaged at the edges.

Looks like finding/making a replacement will be difficult.

Any thoughts on this?

i think you are right - I cant think of an easy way.

Are you going to SCH? we could have a natter then - good ideas usually come after a bit of provocation!

Try David Gerald, as they bought TVR Car Parts. TVR Car parts always used to stock them.

SHC ticket arrived this morning, looking forward to meeting some more S owners and PHers.

Thanks Deeman, wasn't aware stuff like that was still available, might be the easy option.

From what I remember, those items were pretty cheap, so possibly a false economy trying to make your own.

I am pretty sure you can still get them from Neil at ML Performance Parts.

Mine was pretty cheap.
Must admit I hate the thing! Mine almost failed it's MOT once because the tester couldnt find any indicator warning light! Impossible to change a warning light without taking it off, probably impossible to do without damage. The original warning lights have integral bulbs so you have to change the whole thing. I took a damaged one off, changed the warning lights to slightly higher wattage and put on a new panel. Still b****y useless. Too dim and too far out of the line of sight. Several have no function on most cars and dont even have any wiring.
I have now had quite enough of mine and will be doing something 'better' over the winter.
Has anybody else done a successful redesign?

I never remember the ones at TVR parts being that expensive - less than a tenner from what I remember, but they were the crescent strips without the holes in. Lets us all know if you ring DG and they are still in stock.
