SCH August 13 - Convoy from Warwick, via Leicester

If anyone wants to join us, a small group are heading up from the Warwick area along the old Fosse way, meeting a few more on the south side of Leicester at the Meridian McDonalds. The meeting point is very close to the M69 and M1 J21.

We are aiming to leave McDonalds at 09:00. Some might arrive earlier for breakfast, and I will probably be there around 08:40.

I have highlighted some petrol stations on route, although we will not stop unless somebody needs to. They do make optional convoy pick up points should you wish to wait there and tag on as we go past. The exception to this is the services on the A6/A46 junction, as it is not too easy to see the road from the services.

We got there about 8:30 last year only a couple of others there at that time n

Good question - according to event website gates do indeed open at 10am.

Dave_M and I are setting the event up for the local TVRCC so we'll be getting there rather earlier.

Not sure if others will be able to get in before 10am - if you can get through the gates we won't turn you away, but we're not manning the outer gates.

I took it general public at 10am, concours entrants etc are usually allowed in early doors.
Get the polish out etc

I think that's right. TVRs are in effect exhibitors, I have been in before 10 in the past, but not much before. Public allowed in from 10.00. Be aware, if it is hot there can be a queue to get in so quite early is good

Just checked with our organiser, she says TVRs that already have tickets can arrive before 10
