How many miles do people average per year in their S? This is excluding the odd juant to France etc unless you do it every year without fail.

Yes I am trying to take "Most used S award".
I already have most directionally challenged S.

I won't be challenging for that award.

I've used mine most days during the summer and doubt if I will top 2.5k in 12 months. Amateurish.

Excluding distance covered in dreamstate (in which I suppose the emissions become nocturnal, but I digress) in 3 months about 1500, probably 650 miles a month taking into account time off the road whilst in shop.

Ah, a close challenger.

I managed just under 17K last year, although I did go up and down the country a stupid amount in the Summer, probably won't put that amount on this year, hopefully. I'm looking at the daily hack option, or unemployment and sale, as my job is currently putting me into large fits of and it's not good for me.

Ah, i'm planning a couple of jaunts around Europe next year, France and possibly even around the Nurburgring. That should get the miles up... anyone been around the 'ring in their S?

Running at about 1,000 miles a month, but had to take it to France once (1,500 miles inside a week) and Glasgow a few times( a 600 mile round trip) to do that

Having found the S to be a really useful day to day car, have taken out full business use insurance this time round. Only problem now is time spent pouring over maps to find non-motorway ways to get to places. (e.g. from Cannock to Leeds via Ashbourne, the Peak District, Snake and Woodhead passes, over the top to Holmfirth etc etc - magic trip when the sun's out )
