By reckoning, we have
3 meet at Dereham Tescos for 7:00am
Pick up one more at Eye MacDonalds for around 8:15
Wake Longers up at 9:00
Then have a cuppa (If that's OK, obviously)
And head up-North via Bingham at some time or other to get to S club around 10:30
(Obviously times could change due to S's being a lot faster than normal cars wink )
I think, so far, we have...

AutoAndy
Top Gear TVR (my recently dismantled old shed is on my drive in case you want it!!)
Barclayboy
tel595
kevroe
Mycroft
Gozzy
1966colin tbc?

If anyone else wants to tag along with this ramshackle bunch and meet at my place in Uppingham then please add your names here and/or drop me an email.

One request from me - please try and keep the noise down as much as possible(!) when arriving at my house and try not to block the road biggrin

Andy/Gary - not sure if the moby no's I have for you are still correct so can you let me know your contact details in case I need to get in touch on Sunday?

Cheers,
L'rs

This Monday, which way are you going after Uppingham? I am between Uppingham and Thoresby, but don't want to divert you off your chosen route just for my tatty Chimaera. Will have the bucket, sponge and polish out ths weekend to try to make up for a summer of 7000 miles of general and track day abuse.

If I was going from Bingham to Thoresby I would take the direct route. It's about 40 minutes, no brainer. I live at Newark, so not on that route. See you there.

However, if I fancy taking the TVR route (scenic, as others call it) then I will pop down to the A46/a6097 junction for about 9.45 and join the back of your train there

Thanks. If two friends aren't coming to mine to convoy, then I will see you there. I know the Shell garage, the one on the roundabout on the old junction with A46 and A52. I assume that's the one you mean. Or is there one on the A52?

Niige and I are organising a convoy up from Warwick via Leicester. We will be coming up the A46 and turning off on to the A6097. See the topic here

We are likely to be around the A52/A46 junction not far off 09:45. Shall we all meet up at the Shell garage (is it the one on the A46/A52 junction)? If possible it will get a larger group of us to arrive together and make an entrance....

Sounds like a plan.
Chances of keeping a big group together are slight but its worth a go.
Lets hope the weather is better than today .

It's only 30 minutes and about three junctions - should be possible with judicious use of right foot when required.

Longers, I'll join you from your place if that's OK (and I can remember the way to Uppingham!)

Weather forecast looks good for tomorrow so should be a good day.
