Hi All
Just an update, I have made a new bonnet hinge mount, I could not use the wood idea plus it was too far back and fouling the inter cooler pipes. I will be molding a new bonnet when I have sorted out all the fixing points for the hinges, I have glued and glassed in 2 steel (40 X 10) strips into the bonnet, they support the bonnet from the top right down to the front where I can weld on the mounting lugs. I have made up a 40 mm frame to mount the hinge plates on which will give me 30 mm up/down movement and 30 mm side movement, in and out is by a 16 mm rod and a rose joint.

Today I made up the gear change paddles, just a piece of 4 mm ally plate and 2 paddles, the quick release wheel leaves the paddles fixed to the steering boss so avoiding wire plugs still allowing it to follow the steering wheel.

Hi All,
Got the bonnet mounted tonight, It went well but will need to make a Mk 2 as the bonnet will not open all the way, should only need a bracket change, back to the drawing board and Milling machine, front ground clearance is 100mm as it is now. Had no 1 son holding the bonnet open, just need something to prop it open.
