Well done Colin, means the non BB members can admire their P&J and thanks to Andy the green machine is shown at the start, middle and end of the car park vid!! Although Andy it might have been better if you had just devoted the whole vid to Arnie he would have been mightily pleased

The quality issue was somthing I was concerned about when I messed around with it, the quality seems extremely low for capture from a Mini DV camera. The other issue is the resoultion. The original was shot at DV PAL Widescreen with a 40:33 pixel aspect ratio, but it has been exported DV PAL with a 10:11 piexel aspect ratio, hence the reason it looks squashed.

SSorry I've not done the Hatfield tunnel vid, it kinda slipped my mind. I've been at work late most nights recently.

I have digital video footage of my S3 with sports exhaust going through a tunnel in Birmingham - about 12megs and a smaller one on idle.

Any ideas of how I get it to the big wide world - think you would like.

Post it on here, Ted now hosts videos on PH TV .
Assuming you've converted it to some sort of displayable format that is.

A bit of an ar$e...

Not only was I too fast for most of the convoy who couldn't keep up...

But it appears that I was too fast for Mr Sheen...

Being the lead car, he managed to miss me on the way out and the return...

Next year I'll leave the V8S at home which will stop me from cleaning it (until I get back home that is)

If it happens next year I'll make sure I get every one that goes on the hoon (can we make sure that all the FAST drivers start at the back - that's why I missed some of cars at the beginning and I'm sticking to that )

Also, I wont record it in widescreen as it seemed to cause major problems this year - roll on next year.

If I attend next year (car dependent), then my plans are:

a) Not to get lost
b) Read a map (see reason a)
c) Not be late (see reasons a + b)
d) Carry out a full video of the day, using headrest mounts and a better instructed girlfriend.

Keira had some issues vith the video camera, such as not knowing about the zoom function.

Plan e) Instruct camcorder operator not to use zoom on the move .

Tried that this year, I should have set the camera on full wide.
