I could also do with knowing what the seatbelt lock type is.

Are you sure it's the reel that's knackered? Re-positioning the belt guide can make a big difference. There's been a few threads about this before and here's my solution.

If it is a total "gonna" Securon are a popular alternative, usually available on Ebay at reasonable prices.

Alternatively there are a couple of repair/refurb companies mentioned in the post v8s4me has linked to wink

Phillpot, good information. My passenger one doesn't like to always come back in, so took your advice and found the ebay one for 23 quid...and the shop is about a 30 min drive, so may have to head over to pick-up two of them and do the rose joint mod at the same time.

Sorry to spam...Phillpot raised a question the other day about using shorter stalks...the Fiat Punto uses a 15 (according to Securon), so getting the 500/15 will solve both the seatbelt and stalk issue

Depending how far back you like your seat you may find the 15's a little short?

I'm about 5 foot 11 so guess about average, although someone at work about same height borrowed my car and when I got back in I couldn't reach the pedals, perhaps I drive "old man style" (steering wheel virtually touching chest, nose only few inches from screen) smile

Picture shows some little extensions I found in my box of "seat belt bolts 'n bits".

Have now reverted to original belts with nice new yellow webbing but stalks are too long!
