Anyone got any experience of Hammerite Underbody Seal with Waxoyl. Reasonably priced and from a good manufacturer. I was going to treat the chassis on the S with it this winter.
Just used it on the new chassis pieces I welded a couple of weeks ago. I forced it inside the steel tubing so when I welded the underseal went runny so travelled along inside the tubing (I hope!)
It's ok stuff, it's an extra layer of protection and will tidy things up and possibly slow down corrosion, I use simalar stuff over sound metal but it does not prevent or cure rust
