Dreaded outriggers
Discussion
A simple gearbox fluid change has turned into an outrigger repair job. The front offside outrigger has rusted through not 4 months after its MOT. Interestingly there's a hairline crack on the other side bit it's not particularly rusty.
The rest of the chassis is in good order.
I have a garage who can do the work as they're experienced with Westfield and other kit cars, although they've never done a TVR before.
I've had a look through the tvrgit.com guide and will give them that as a reference. - what a great guide.
Are there any snagging points/hidden secrets to look out for?
Many thanks, from a somewhat more impoverished S3 owner.
