Hi. Hope you don't mind me posting this as I am not a regular on here? Have always admired TVR and especially the S. My boss had one back in the early nineties and loved it. I could not see this car on the list of owners Wiki. Its a 1991 V8S 54,000km. Anyone on here? It would be a nice project / toy... dreaming... but have too many toys and not enough garages already.

I'm sure you have loads of newbies asking for buyers guides and pointers. Any quick links to research further would be much appreciated.

Enjoy the photos...

Regards, Ult-Jim

That looks superb, lovely combo of the white paint and blue hood. Just needs a pair of smoked rear lenses to finish it off wink

I haven't seen anything on line.
Price, well like most things down here, final selling price is usually a lot lower than the asking price and applies to villas, sports cars and yachts!

I just hope it goes to someone who appreciates what it is and gives it some loving care.

Ult-Jim.

Crazy price. Very nice example though. I like it in white too - makes a change from the usual suspects.

yes

Without a French Carte Grise it is only worth the UK price.
If it did have French papers then the price would be about right.

It would be interesting to see how well the chassis has survived in that climate, and does anyone else have black door handles (can't see if they're TVR embossed as on mine)?

Judging by the big boat in the background it "lives" by the sea so maybe not too well? scratchchin

Given that its still on UK registration I would guess it hasn't been here long.
Might be the typical case of bought it, discovered they can't register it, now sell it.

This will give you an idea of the value of a French registered car:

Still on the dock today, (IYCA, Antibes). That is five nights of torrential rain and two days of easterlies thrashing salty sea spray all over it irked

What I can see of the out riggers / chassis it is covered in wax oil at least.

It has French insurance,UK plates and right hand drive. It is looking a little tired on the body work.

I might start asking some of the boat crews if they know who the owner is.
