Finally get to enjoy my car!!
Discussion
After buying the car for a euro tour about 3 years ago its been resting in the mother in laws garage as we had no parking or garaging. I made a half hearted attempt at selling it last year but it wasn't what I really wanted to do. Well we have now moved and have a garage and off road parking so today it was mot'd
and I can start using it after sorting the tax tomorrow

Excellent move kind Sir !
Not too far away from several S owners, and on the door step of Shelsley Walsh..... Home of the TVR big breakfast, see events page at top of S series thread. Next meeting is New Years Day for Brunch and then a Sunday in each month for breakkie and classic car view and chat.
Welcome !

Well Terrence Tom;
You must be absolutely bonkers!
Having an S for such a long time just tucked away in a garage, unused?
Did you manage to do the Eurotour? Because they just keep getting better & better each year, thanks to Longers
Anyway, welcome back to the forum.
Hope you enjoy your runs out now it's back on the road, but watch out for those slippery wet leaves, especially in corners
That said, some of the best driving days are when it's clear & crisp, and there's just you & the open road.
Enjoy
Keep an eye on our Events Wiki when we get things sorted for 2014, lots of good times ahead. Hope to see you around.
Cheers,
Glen
PS. Are you going ro the Classic Car Show at NEC in November?
If so , bring some biscuits to the TVRCC stand.

Cheers Gents,
Shelsley really was on my doorstep as i grew up a couple of hills over from Shelsley (my folks are still there) and our wedding reception last year was at the Birches which is at the top of the valley overlooking Shelsley itself. I have now however moved down to Cheltenham but I still work in Worcester so will try and make Shelsley next year.
We (then girlfriend now wife!) did 2500 miles around France in the TVR 3......or 4 (time flies!!) years ago but since then we have kept the car are her mums in Malvern due to lack of a garage in Worcester. Its always been taxed and insured but its always been a big hassle to use it as we had to drive to Malvern (should be 15 ins but always seems to take 25-30), move 2 cars out of the drive, take the car out, move 2 cars back again, go for a drive, move 2 cars out of the drive, put the TVR back in the garage, move 2 cars bac..........you see where this is going - it was such a hassle we got a bit frustrated and with lots of other stuff going on like getting married it just never got used!!!
Now I plan to use it as much as possible so will be switching between the TVR, T5 van (camperconversion in progress) and train to get work in Worcester from Cheltenham everyday.

In suppose we might be persuaded that getting married might just take priority over using the S? Only just though!
Glad you didn't sell it, that would be quite inexcusable
Give 'her' a name and make 'her' part of the family so you can never consider selling her again.
Good luck, welcome back, see you some time.
