Hi All
I never liked the boot release and the long cable so I changed to a newer type from Hyundai Coupe, easy to fit and has a solenoid release and a key release as well. Just waiting for the catch to arrive to fit to the boot.
I had to cut the boot the hinges off as both the bolts and inserts were to far gone to salvage so I found a pr of chrome hinges from a TVR 3000 ( must have some chrome on the car) and they fit with very little work needed to make them fit
Started on the Induction as well, need to fab a elbow to connect both pipes together.

Finding all these jobs are taking longer than I thought
Alan
Edit with picture, it took me 4 hours to get this little bit to fit, just need to tig everything up and its done
