Need help...fast!

Morning everyone! I am in desperate need of the valve cover (tappet cover) gaskets! Mine, well were beyond being perished and the car is being shipped out on Thursday. Does anyone have a set that I can purchase and send next day? I will be going to the NEC car show tomorrow and can me up. Also, if you are between Birmingham and Suffolk, I can drop by.

Looking at the alternative parts list, it has the ford 1651474. I found a place that will be open tomorrow that will be within my driving range...can anyone confirm these will work?

they don't look right to me different to my 2.8 ones,
I have a set in my garage if you cant get any (north Essex)
you should get them same day at any good motor factors

If you look on my website www.gbsportscar.com and look at the useful links part there on the lower right is an exploded 2.8 V6 diagram that has all the part numbers on. These are the original Ford diagrams on line at fordpedia.org.

Part number is 80tm6584aa the finis number is 6104534

Loads on Ebay or any decent Motor Factor should be able to get them within 24 hours if they don't have them in stock.


Or I'm in Redditch, about 25 minutes up the M42 from the NEC, got a couple of spares





2.8 and 2.9 can't be hugely different, the alloy covers from the 2.8 fit the 2.9 with one extra bolt hole drilled out
